First, there is the tough, yet fun, part: selecting just the right announcement. Before the advent of the Internet, parents did not have much of a selection among the various birth announcement designs. Parents selected from preprinted baby announcement sets that pretty much varied only with the gender of the baby. The Internet changed all that. The new mom and dad have literally hundreds of designs at their fingertips, designs announcing the arrival of a boy or a girl, multiple babies or an adoption.
